Glow Envy ("we", "us", "our") is a Kenyan natural skincare brand operating at glowenvyke.co.ke. We sell skincare products via WhatsApp and our website, and we are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and related regulations.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that is necessary to fulfil your order and provide customer support. This includes:

  • Name — so we know who the order is for
  • Phone number / WhatsApp number — to confirm your order and arrange delivery
  • Delivery address — to ship your products to you
  • Payment confirmation — M-Pesa transaction reference, where applicable
  • Skin concern information — only if you voluntarily share it when asking for product advice
  • Before & after photos — only if you voluntarily share them and give us express permission to use them

We do not collect credit card numbers, passwords, or any sensitive financial data beyond M-Pesa references.

3. How We Collect Your Data

Your data is collected through:

  • WhatsApp conversations when you place an order or ask a question
  • Instagram direct messages
  • The contact form or "Order Now" buttons on this website
  • Photos you voluntarily share with us for skin consultation or testimonials

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data solely for the following purposes:

  • Processing and confirming your order
  • Arranging delivery to your address
  • Sending order updates via WhatsApp
  • Responding to customer service enquiries
  • Offering skincare advice based on information you share with us
  • Sharing before & after photos only with your explicit permission

5. Before & After Photos

If you share photos of your skin results with us, we may ask your permission to feature them on our website, Instagram, or WhatsApp marketing materials. We will always ask first and will never publish your photos without your express consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

We only share your data with trusted third parties who need it to fulfil your order, including:

  • Delivery / courier partners — your name, phone number, and address
  • M-Pesa / Safaricom — payment processing (governed by their own privacy policy)

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other party beyond what is necessary to deliver your order.

7. Data Storage & Security

Your order details are stored in WhatsApp conversations and, where applicable, in simple order records kept by our team. We take reasonable steps to secure this information, including limiting access to authorised team members only.

As required under the Kenya Data Protection Act, we do not retain your personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

8. Your Rights Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019

You have the following rights over your personal data:

  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct any inaccurate data

Our website does not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools that collect your personal data. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify you.

Our products and services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website or WhatsApp ordering after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
